They also undertake manufacturing jobs of Crown Iron Works in India as their business partner. Solvent extraction is the process of taking out the oil remaining in oilseeds with hexane after pre-preparation or pre-pressing by expellers in oil mills.

This process is carried out mostly in burst-discharge batch reactors in our country. However, continues extraction plants are being installed in many new or renovated mills preferentially both for safety and for improved hexane and oil losses.

Kumar Metal Industries undertakes manufacturing of small to medium sized continuous solvent extraction plants (SEP) as turnkey projects. Improving their designs with expertise acquired over the years, Kumar are able to guarantee proper preparation of seeds or press cakes for extraction as well as minimizing the oil left in the meal and solvent loses.
